Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse

Wild Olive House is fully equipped for self-catering, and has extensive outdoor living areas and a private swimming pool.

In the garden of Wild Olive House there is a separate cottage which has proved particularly popular with grandparents as an escape when the rest of the family is staying in Wild Olive House itself.

The main house has two spacious double bedrooms and a smaller room with bunk beds for children. There are two bathrooms, one with shower. Outside, a separate cottage has a double bedroom and bathroom, and a sitting room with a private deck looking up to the mountains.

We provide afternoon tea which is a selection of sweets and savouries, we can either arrange a family meal at the Wild Olive House or organise a babysitter and have a 3 course dinner at the main house. The next morning we provide brunch which is a lavish breakfast with a selection of fruits and pastries and cooked breakfast. These meals are included in the overall cost to stay with us.

We are a short distance from Riebeek Kasteel which has numerous wine estates and olive tastings. In the nearby town of Tulbagh there are also museums and wine tasting. On the farm we offer game drives, walks and biking. There are trout in the dam and we have fishing equipment on site. There are also boats and canoes to use. The farm is a working farm and there are farm animals to be seen.

GENERAL NOTES

1. Check in time is 3.00 p.m. and check out time 12.00 p.m.
2. Prices exclude all meals(afternoon tea, family meals and brunch)Dinner at the Main house can be booked prior to arrival-Adults only- no children under 16 years.
3. Child minders can be arranged for evenings at R40.00 per hour.
4. Please note we do not allow children younger than 16 years of age at the Main House.
5. Transfer rates available on request.
6. Children under 3 years pay R225.00 per day for meals and must be arranged prior to arrival.
7. Only  a morning game drive is included in the rate.
8. A Rate of R450.00 a day is charged for all meals per person and must be arranged prior to arrival(Afternoon tea, family dinner or dinner at the main house and mid morning brunch)

RESERVATION, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
All reservations are made subject to Terms and Conditions of Business

1. Reservations are not secure until full deposit has been paid.
2. Full accommodation payment (deposit) must be made 45 days prior to arrival.
3. Bookings made at shorter notice must be confirmed by full payment within 48 hours.
4. Bookings cancelled 45 -30 days prior to arrival, 25% of deposit will be forfeited.
5. Bookings cancelled 30 – 21 days prior to arrival, 50% of deposit will be forfeited.
6. Bookings cancelled 21 – 14 days prior to arrival, 75% of deposit will be forfeited.
7. Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival, 100% of deposit will be forfeited.
8. All refunds are subject to a 15% administration fee.
9. Bookings will be released automatically & without notification if these conditions are not met.
